Meyer Lemon Vinaigrette with Blue Cheese

This salad can actually be served as an entrée. Just up the ingredients!

½ pound sirloin steak

1/3 cup squeezed Meyer lemon

½ cup olive oil

1 1/2 cups crumbled blue cheese


2 cups chopped romaine

1 cup chopped oak leaf lettuce

1 pear chopped*

Cook the steak to medium rare and let rest 10 minutes before slicing. Puree lemon juice, olive oil, blue cheese and pepper. Put the two lettuces and pear into a large serving bowl and dress with the vinaigrette. Top with sliced steak.

*After chopping pear pour some lemon juice on top to stop from browning.
