Petite Syrah
Located in the Capelle Valley, the Moss Creek vineyard is owned by George and Anne Moskowite. George is a second-generation grape grower and winery owner. The vineyard dates back to the 1950s, with some Zinfandel vines as old as 40 years. It is a flatland vineyard with some southwest-facing slopes. Petite Sirah was planted there in 1999. Moss Creek is known for producing premium Zinfandels, including those by winemaker Nils Venge.
