2008 Syrah Caldwell's Kreuzer Canyon

B Cellar’s passion for Syrah dates back to our inception.  Our Caldwell’s Kreuzer Canyon Syrah finds its roots in the elevated Coombsville to the east of Napa.   This vineyard designate Syrah exhibits a dense violet color, intense nose of blue and black fruits, and undertones of cola and cassis.  The savory and meaty flavors are backed by smoky and woodsy notes; the palate is packed with plush blueberries and blackberries. This elixir is full bodied with firmly structured tannins and a long, complex finish.  Cellared correctly, this wine will age well over the next 5-10 years.
