Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard

The Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard is situated in the heart of St. Helena. An early Napa pioneer by the name of Dr. George Belden Crane originally planted vines on this site in 1858. During the 1920’s it was known as the City of St. Helena’s Chinatown. Beckstoffer Vineyards acquired this renowned site in 1997 and replanted to multiple clones of Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Verdot, and Cabernet Franc using modern trellising.

|CLIMATE:||St. Helena is one of the warmest regions in the Napa Valley, characterized by long warm summer days with subtle afternoon breezes that come from the Pacific over the Mayacamas Mountain range. This AVA is noted for having large daytime-to-nighttime temperature fluctuations.
