A Journey To Become The Best Craft Wine And Food Experience In Napa Valley

B Cellars Vineyards and Winery

When Jim Borsack and Duffy Keys met in 2002, both executives were exploring new career paths. Over a drop of the good stuff, they discovered a shared taste in wine – and an interest in acquiring vineyard property. Less than a year later, they scrapped their solo endeavors and formed B Cellars.

Committed to establishing a wine business that “goes beyond the expected”, Borsack and Keys founded B Cellars on two absolute principals:

  1. Produce exceptional, food-centric artisan wines.
  2. Lead Napa Valley in the pursuit of the best craft wine and food pairing experiences.

Shortly after inception, Kirk Venge joined B Cellars in their endeavor. At the time, Venge was named as “One of the Top 20 New Winemakers In The World” by Food & Wine Magazine. Kirk brought to the venture nearly four decades of wine-making experience and a strong knowledge of the Napa Valley appellation.

Today, B Cellars Vineyards and Winery expertly marries both old and new world winemaking techniques to create blends and appellation vineyard wines with balance, complexity, and layers of flavor.

Central to B Cellars purpose is maintaining equilibrium between guest engagement through curated, highly personalized wine and food pairing experiences and the primary use of the winery as an agricultural facility.
