Three Single-Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignons…Three Unique Wines
Over the course of geological history and through the passage of time, Napa Valley has undergone a remarkable transformation, resulting in an agricultural Eden that now produces some of the world’s most sought-after Cabernet Sauvignon. More than 100 soil variates and 26 individual microclimates exist in this gorgeous Valley that spans an area of 32 miles long and 5 miles wide.
Today, we understand the link between terroir and vine and how Napa Valley’s diverse soil, climate, and terrain produce unique wines. These Cabernet Sauvignons represent three distinct AVAs – Oakville, Rutherford, and Calistoga.

Oakville AVA
The Ehrlich Vineyard is located a couple miles west of the winery, just off of Money Road in the heart of the Oakville AVA, Ehrlich Vineyard is owned and operated by Clifford and Patricia Ehrlich, and farmed by Garvey Vineyard Management. This vineyard and Clifford’s passion for winegrowing inspired his book “The Lure of the Napa Valley: Chasing a Vineyard Dream”. We work very closely with the Ehrlich and Garvey Families, striving to produce the best wine this vineyard has to offer.
2021 Ehrlich Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon
“This vineyard has become a B Cellars standard, consistently offering a savory, rich, and dark fruit profile. A rich, tannic, substantial wine, exhibiting the best of the Oakville region. Dried olives, cola nut, and leather consume the aromas, followed by dark plums and blackberry. The broad palate ranges from allspice and chocolate to a core of intense, dark fruit that lead to grippy tannins and a long, lingering, savory finish.”
Rutherford AVA
2021 Star Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon
“A complex nose of wet earth and red raspberry are the aromatic backbones, followed by subtle undertones of green olive, dried cranberry, and cherries. The palate is expansive with bright red strawberries, rhubarb, dried mushrooms, and spice box. Prickly pear tannins dance across your palate, leaving you thirsting for more.”
Star Vineyard hails from the heart of the Rutherford bench. Founded in 1987 by Reg B. Oliver and well-known Napa Valley winemaker Ric Forman, Star Vineyard has consistently produced stellar vintages of Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Pinot Noir. This sustainably farmed vineyard is currently managed and operated by Reg Oliver’s son, Jack. Vintage after vintage, the Star Vineyard in Rutherford proves itself to be one of the premier sources of Cabernet Sauvignon in a region made famous by the varietal.
Calistoga AVA
Kenefick Ranch is nestled against a section of the Vaca Mountains known as Rattlesnake Ridge. This wine was crafted as a tribute to the highly acclaimed Kenefick Ranch Vineyard. The vineyard terroir is defined by a massive alluvial fan of rocky bale loam, perfect for growing high-quality wine grapes. Tom Kenefick and his viticulture crew meticulously manage and have taken great care of the vineyards over the past decades.
