B Cellars is thrilled to announce the release of our 2021 Pinot Noirs. The challenges of the 2020 harvest led to the decision to not make any Pinot Noir from that vintage, but we are more excited than ever to welcome back Brown Ranch Pinot Noir from Carneros region in southern Napa, Calesa Vineyard Pinot Noir from Petaluma Gap, and the Manzana Vineyard Pinot Noir from Russian River Valley. Each of these wines showcases the unique terroir of their respective vineyards and highlights the exceptional quality of the 2021 vintage. With their characteristic elegance, depth, and complexity, these Pinot Noirs are sure to impress even the most discerning wine connoisseurs.
Brown Ranch
Carneros, Napa Valley
This is a serious Pinot Noir, showcasing delicate, feminine aromas of cherry blossom and rose petal, followed by a full palate of bing cherry, cranberry, and pomegranate. There’s a very alluring sense of place; sandalwood, cinnamon and hints of anise. A velvety and complex palate is followed by a long and luxurious finish.
Calesa Vineyard
Petaluma Gap
A beautiful ruby color radiates from the glass, showing dominant aromas of scorched earth, leather, and shaved pencil with undertones of espresso and red cherry. Rich flavors of black plum, pomegranate, iron, and warm baking spices consume the palate. Great balance is exhibited between softly textured tannins, vivacious acidity, and a lengthy delightful finish.
Manzana Vineyard
Russian River Valley
Two Dijon clones, 777 and 828, unite to create a perfumed array of red raspberry, sweet strawberry, and a subtle whisper of rose petal. The weighty yet elegant palate is laden with intricate layers of fresh red fruits, boysenberry, with an essence of clove on the finish. This gorgeous Pinot Noir is Russian River Valley at its finest.
