We’ve harvested all of our white wine (and rosé wine) grapes, with many tons picked late last week. In our unyielding quest to work with the best fruit from the best vineyards, we harvested a new Chardonnay and a new Pinot Noir Vineyard. Stay tuned for more information on these exciting new wines! We are seeing incredibly bright acidity and lively flavors…very favorable indicators of a great vintage!
We’re in the midst of a tremendous heat wave, but temperatures are expected to cool down later this week. Kirk and his team are carefully watching the red varietals, and we should see the pace quicken as temperatures return to more moderate levels.
We’ll provide additional updates in the coming weeks. Until then, we want to thank everyone who has joined us on this journey for the past two decades. It is our immense honor and privilege to share our craft with you all. Cheers to the next 20 harvests!
