FALL 2021

The 2021 harvest season is here! If you’ve never experienced the intensity and energy of a Napa Valley harvest, we invite you to come out for a visit now. It is our favorite time of the year, a time when we come together with our growers, watch and taste the grapes day by day as they approach perfect ripeness, and then spring into action at just the right moment. It is truly something to see and experience. If you can’t make it to Oakville for a visit, make sure to catch up on the latest harvest news on the website.

Meanwhile, the 2018 vintage continues to delight, bringing bright fruit flavors to the palate. It’s one of the prettier vintages in recent memory, and we encourage you to lay down some extra bottles of this vintage in your cellar to enjoy into the future.

Lastly, if you have ever shipped wine with us before, you know that the package and the very existence of this webpage are new. We are proud to announce that all B Cellars wine will now be shipped in Eco-friendly packaging featuring 100% compostable Green Cell Foam. Your wine will be safer in transit and you will have less waste to dispose of. Moving our wine tasting sheets and recipes to a digital format allows us to further reduce our reliance on paper and create less waste. Learn about all of our efforts towards a more sustainable future.

Thanks to the many of you who ventured out for a friendly visit. It warmed our hearts to see you, to share handshakes and smiles, and to taste these wonderful wines next to Chef Derick’s B Bites. Cheers to a happy harvest and a joyful fall season filled with friends, family, and of course, plenty of  B Cellars wine!

Recipes

Heirloom Melon Salad

Blend 23’s unique combination of varietals lends itself to being a versatile food pairing wine. Here, the tropical melon, salty cheese, and spice of the Salad bring out the crisp acidity and savory mid-palate of the wine.

Lamb Meatballs

Lamb is one of the most wine-friendly meats you can buy. Syrah and lamb dishes is a classic pairing and Chef Derick Kuntz couldn’t agree more. Try serving these lamb meatballs with B Cellars Blend 25.

Beef Sliders

Chef Derick Kuntz’s sliders are the most requested food item from guests at B Cellars. This versatile recipe works well with many of our red wines, especially Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon.
